There are so many different ways to use it!

I used my time this afternoon to make myself a cute paper quilt...

I absolutely love how sleek and modern the designs are!

Really,
these things look good without any "extras".
But I wanted to add that POP of color.
Because I love me some COLOR!

The Pen

Last Friday was my day off and because I was feeling daring...

and because Hubby "okayed" it...

{haha, yes i DO ask to spend money because i feel bad when i don't!}

....I went and picked up one of these guys from Porters {local craft store}.

Really happy I did because I'm not good at waiting for things to come by snail mail!

Right when I got home I hooked that baby up and went to town.

Ooo look!
It's SKETCHING for me!

I was so excited with this new tool that I sketched some more...

I then took a sketch of my OWN {drawn on my tablet},
traced it in the Silhouette Studio,
and this is what I got:

Haha.

But this is so cool huh?!

I don't like the extra line border there - if you know what I mean,

but I thought that was pretty neat to have it "draw" something I had drawn...

Rosettes and A Mailbox

In case you needed something to do...

They're like the Accordion Rosettes,
but I like how I can thread these ones with floss or twine.
It makes them stay better in-tact I think.

Here's the mailbox that was super easy to make:

It's theme is patriotic because I did it over the fourth.
Go figure.
Besides the fact that it's easy-peasy,
and that you can custom make it to fit ANY theme you want,
I love that it's usable!
