i heart target: mini mailbox

this is definitely a "fun find friday" you guys! ever since i have seen THIS pin on Pinterest, i have wanted to do this idea. it is so stinking cute and fun, especially for the "month of love".

this little mailbox was the main reason i drove myself to Target on Monday...

i tried going to one near me last year and there were NONE! i was so sad, but this year when i remembered them, i tried looking again. and this Target didn't disappoint!

THEY ARE A DOLLAR! a freaking dollar (sorry about all the caps back there). no wonder they sold out so fast last year. i got one for each family member. look at all those fun colors too-white, pink, light blue, an aqua greenish/blue, and red. i almost want to go back for a few more...for "kids down the road"...heheh.

you should also know that on my way home i stopped in at Walmart to grab something, and decided to go check their seasonal section. they had the same size mailboxes, but every single one had an ugly print on it-for $2.97. boo to you Walmart!

i knew i wanted to put our first initial on the front of each mailbox (like emily did on hers), so i played around with a few fonts on my Silhouette SD, and ended up with this:

"k"font= Impervious

"a" font= LDJ Shortbread Hand

"b" font= LD Flutter

and to finish it off, i simply placed them on a vase/some candle holders(from walmart) that i had laying around. here they are, looking so cute and fun:

if you haven't already guessed, we are writing love notes for each other until the 14th, when we will then get to read them. i'm excited! i also think these would be super fun to have hanging around in each child's room(when we get/have more chillins). what a fun way to pass along a "secret" note!

*stay tuned for Monday when i reveal the WHOLE table!

*any fun plans for this weekend?! i can't believe it's FEBRUARY! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
besides a good run(fingers crossed for happy weather), we are staying in. no big plans here
